Sandwich panels

LLC «Kuznetsky Light Structures Plant» manufactures wall and roofing sandwich panels on automated technological line «Hilleng» (Great Britain). These panels are perfect constructions for walls, dividing walls and roofing system of civil and industrial buildings including food-manufacturing enterprises, store buildings, commercial, administrative and public buildings, sports complexes, residential, modular, demountable buildings, cooling and freezing rooms. Also panels are used for reconstruction of buildings, in particular for the increase of its thermal shield characteristics. Applying of sandwich-panels in building has a number of advantages:

  1. Safe — high hygiene of surface, high fire resistance (panels with mineral wool insulation refer to category of nonflammable and according to Table 4 SniP 2101-97* «Fire safety of buildings and facilities» respond to 1st stage of building fire resistance).
  2. Warm — thermotechnical parameters of sandwich-panels are 10 times higher comparing to traditional materials.
  3. Reliable — more that 35 combinations of anticorrosion polymere coatings depending on conditions of exploitation.
  4. Quick — speed of building of 10 m2 of wall from sandwich-panel is 80 times higher than the one made of brick.
  5. Economic — low weight of sandwich-panels. Transportation costs per 1m2 of wall made of sandwich-panels is 50 times cheaper than for wall made of brick or ferro-concrete. Perfect surface of panels doesn't need any additional outside or interior finishing.
  6. Light — the use of sandwich-panels reduces the load on foundation more than 500 times comparing to the load on foundation when using concrete or brick.
  7. Aesthetically pleasing — wide variety of colours for sandwich-panels.

Advantages mentioned earlier provide the following:
  • short terms of building;
  • reduction of costs on permanent construction;
  • quick erecting and disassemble;
  • reduction of energy costs in buildings' exploitation;
  • ability to consolidate object being built with any architectural ensemble of city planning
  • ability to provide comfortable conditions for living and working.

For panels manufacturing the following materials are used: as facing material Kuznetsky Plant of Light Constructions uses galvanized steel (consumption of zinc is not less than 275 g/m2) with 1st class polymer coating (polyester, pural, PVC, PVF2; colour from catalogues RAL and RR), thickness 0,5-0,7 mm produced by Corus (Great Britain), Arselor (Belgium) and well-known Russian manufacturers as Novolipatsk Metallurgical Plant (Russia).

Depending on customer's desire (wish) several kinds of siding are offered: nine trapezoidal grooves, five V-shaped grooves, flat sheet.

Glue: polyurethane two component produced by ICI HUNTSMAN (Holland). As thermal insulation Kuznetsky Plant of Light Constructions uses basalt wool «Sandwich BATTS C» by ROCKWOOL (Poland), NOBASIL Tss (Slovenia) with transversely oriented fibers with density not less than 110 kg/m3 and mineral wool plate produced by known Russian manufacturers such as «Linerock».

Width of panels is 1190 mm, thickness from 50 to 245 mm, length from 1800 to 12000 mm. Joint of panels is made by the following locks: Z-Lock and Secret Fix.

Wall sandwich panels can be positioned horizontally or vertically (appropriately horizontal layout and vertical layout).

Horizontal layout Talking about advantages of horizontal layout, we can say that this scheme excludes necessity of additional elements of framework structure and possibility of water contamination from surface of wall under horizontal splat is also excluded.
Vertical layout With a low height of structure the use of vertical layout allows you to completely exclude the use of lifting equipment (at the stage of wall erection) and also there is no need in vertical splat.

However, the final decision on choosing the layout is taken for particular project individually taking into account architectural, technological and exploitation features. Regardless on the type of layout the quality is guaranteed if erecting technology is assured.

Roofing panel have high saddle joint (35 mm), which in combination with polyurethane sealant of scale increases durability of roofing. We'd like to note that panels are furnished with system «Concealed fixing», which excludes through holes that can't be avoided within traditional method of panels erecting.

Width of roofing panels is 1140 mm, thickness from 100 to 245 mm, length from 1800 to 12500 mm. The butt is made by means of lock «Concealed fixing».

Roofing junction.

Roofing seams are sealed with polyurethane sealant «Emfri» (France), a one-component viscous mass, which total polymerization takes a few hours without shrinkage. The sealant has excellent adhesion to the building materials (stone, glass, wood, metal, etc.). It has an excellent elasticity (the elasticity (material elasticity figure varies from 460% to 910%), doesn't decompose, that is more than enough to compensate all roofing temperature deformation. This sealants can be used at low temperatures.

Moulded members

Panels are furnished with moulded members and erecting elements.

Unique German equipment «Schechtl» allows to manufacture moulding members of any complexity with thickness from 0,5 to 0,7 mm and length 3 m.

Galvanized steel (zink is not less than 275g/m2) with polymeric coating of I class (polyester, pural, PVC, PVF2; colour according to catalogues RAL and RR), thickness 0,5-0,7 mm produced by Corus (Great Britain), Arselor (Belgium), and also wide-known Russian manufacturers such as Novolipetskiy Iron and Steel Works (Russia).
